Quiero estar
en lo más profundo de tu corazón
que cada latido
te recuerde a mí.
Quiero estar
en lo más profundo de tu corazón
que mis raíces
se aferren a tus venas
y crecer
porque tú vives;
en lo más profundo de tu corazón
que sea imposible
desarraigarme,
y que arrancarme
significaría
llevarme
un pedazo de él
… o tal vez,
incluso todo de él.

I want to be
so deep in your heart
that every beat of it
reminds you of me.
I want to be
so deep in your heart
that my roots
cling to your veins
and that I grow
because you live;
so deep in your heart
that it is impossible
to uproot me,
that to take me away
will mean
that I take away
a piece of your heart with me…
or maybe,
even all of it.
