EDITORS

Saquina Karla C. Guiam has been published in the Rising Phoenix Review, Scrittura Magazine, Suffragette City, Dulcet Quarterly, The Fem Lit Mag, Glass: A Journal of Poetry, and others. She graduated from Mindanao State University–General Santos City with a bachelor’s degree in English and is currently studying for her master’s degree in Ateneo de Davao University. She is the Roots nonfiction editor at Rambutan Literary, an online journal showcasing literature and art from Southeast Asians all over the world, and the Social Media Manager of Umbel & Panicle, a new literary journal inspired by plants and all things botanical.

Paul Randy P. Gumanao hails from Kidapawan City, and teaches Chemistry at Philippine Science High School-SoCCSKSARGEN Region Campus. He was a fellow for poetry at the 2009 Davao Writers Workshop, and 2010 IYAS National Creative Writing Workshop. He is a former editor-in-chief of Atenews, the official student publication of Ateneo de Davao University, and is currently finishing his MS in Chemistry from the same university.

CONTRIBUTORS

Rossel M. Audencial is an AB English graduate from Mindanao State University-General Santos City where she is currently teaching. She finished a Master’s degree from Notre Dame of Marbel University. She is currently the adviser for Bagwis, the student publication of Mindanao State University-General Santos City.

Michael John Otanes is an AB English student at Mindanao State University in General Santos City.

Hannah A. Leceña, 20 years old, is a graduating student of Bachelor of Secondary Education (Filipino) at Mindanao State University in General Santos City. She is the former Associate Editor of The Papyrus, the official student publication of the College of Education. She is also one of the established spoken word artists in the region.

Kloyde A. Caday is a faculty member of the Department of English Language and Literature at University of Southern Mindanao, Kabacan, Cotabato. He was a fellow for creative nonfiction in the 2016 Davao Writers Workshop and for poetry in the 2014 Ateneo de Davao University Summer Writers Workshop.

John Gied Calpotura is from Tacurong City and an incoming grade 10 student at Sultan Kudarat State University Laboratory High School. He won the 1st Sultan Kudarat Fiction Contest recently for his flash fiction “Shoebox.” He was also a finalist for the same contest for “10:33 AM” and for “Sugarcoat.”

Paolo Concepcion is a fellow in the 1st South Cotabato Poetry Workshop and the UP Writers Club Public Workshop. He is from Koronadal City, and is now taking MS Statistics at University of the Philippines Diliman.
